...the golden rule...

[repost by request].... mula ng magawa ko ang entry na " Time for Sale ", kung saan pinaliwanag na ang oras ay hindi lang ginto (time is gold)...nagkainteres din ako sa konsepto ng Golden Rule... malamang sa malamang sobrang familiar na tayo sa konseptong ito...ano nga ba ang golden rule?....ang sabi sa bible: "Do unto others as you would want done unto you." (Mt 7:12/Lk 6:31) ang sabi naman sa Budismo: "Putting oneself in the place of another, one should not kill nor cause another to kill" ( Harris E.J. 1997 ) ...halos ganito din ang mga konsepto ayon sa Confucianismo: "Never impose on others what you would not choose for yourself" (Confucius, Analects XV.24, tr. David Hinton) ...maging sa Islam ito rin ang sinasabi, sa katunayan isang sermon ni Muhammad na tinagurian The Farewell Sermon ay sinabi nya: "Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you" ...marami pang mga mga organisasyon at relihiyon sa mundo ang naniwala sa k

"Bugtong-bugtong.
